Dispatch

A personal publishing tool. One author, one computer, the author's own channels.

What it does

Dispatch is a desktop application that its author runs on their own computer. It takes a finished video, holds it until the author approves it, publishes it to the author's own channels at a chosen time, and then reads back the public performance figures so that different edits of the same archival speech can be compared. It has no accounts, no hosted service and no users other than its author.

How it uses YouTube

This application uses YouTube API Services.

With the author's Google sign-in and consent, Dispatch uploads the author's own videos to the author's own YouTube channels, posts one first comment written by the author, and reads the statistics and YouTube Analytics figures of those videos. It accesses no other user's data.

By using it, the author agrees to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Access can be revoked at any time at Google security settings.
